Once an authentication method is setup, please follow these steps to reset your password if you have forgotten your password.

• Please go to https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/.
  
  
• Enter your Western Technical College email address and complete the captcha 

• This account in this example has multiple available authentication methods.   The recommendation is to have as many alternative authentication methods allowed.

  • The preferred authentication method is the Microsoft Authenticator app, which will provide a code when this method is selected.

  • If using a different method selected the registered method for your account, select the method that is currently available to you.
    

• Create a new password and click Finish
  
  
• Successful password reset message appears
  

After you change your password, you may need to wait a few minutes for it to synchronize with all of your accounts (Office 365, Western email, network user account).
