TECHNET WIRELESS – This wireless network is restricted and can only be used for equipment which is owned by the college, such as classroom and staff laptops, and classroom and staff tablets. These devices are set to automatically connect to the TECHNET WIRELESS network.

WESTERN-STUDENT – This wireless network is available for students and staff to use with their personal devices, such as laptops, tablets or smart phones. When you choose to connect to this wireless network, you will be asked to provide credentials. Please use the same username and password that you use for logging into computers on campus or your MyWestern account.

WESTERN-PARTNER – This wireless network is to be used by visitors (individuals or small groups) who are here to do business with the college or to present information to staff and/or students. This wireless network is password protected. Please contact PC Service for the password. This password is not to be posted anywhere or given out to students or other staff members, as they have access to the WESTERN-STUDENT wireless network.

WESTERN-GUEST – This wireless network is used for a large group of visitors, but this is a limited use wireless network. If you encounter a need for this wireless connection, please contact PC Service to let them know when and where this network is needed, so it can be enabled.
