Mitel Voicemail

This document provides instructions on how to check your voicemail for your office phone.
  1. Access the voicemail system:
    1. If you are using a Mitel desk phone, press the Voicemail function key.
    2. If you are using a Cisco desk phone, press the "Messages" button (envelope icon).
    3. If you are calling from a phone other than your own desk phone, dial your own phone number and press the * key when you hear the voicemail greeting. If you are not prompted you to enter your password, press the * key a second time.

  2. When you hear the audio prompt to enter your password, enter your phone/voicemail PIN followed by the # key.
    1. Note: You can press the * key to skip listening to your voicemail system summary and messages.

  3. Press 4 in the main voicemail menu to access the following options:
    1. Press 1 to record your personal greeting
    2. Press 2 to record your name
    3. Press 3 to change from your current greeting. This option toggles between the two types of greetings from which you can choose in the voicemail system; personal greeting or system greeting.

  4. For options 1 (record your personal greeting) and 2 (record your name) above, you can do the following:
    1. Press 1 to listen to your recorded personal greeting or name
    2. Press 2 to re-record your personal greeting or name, then use the following options:
      1. Press 1 to listen to your re-recorded personal greeting or name
      2. Press 2 to record your personal greeting or name again
      3. Press 3 to save the last recording

  5. Press 9 to return to the main menu at any time.
