Colleague - Leave Request

This document provides instructions on how to access and submit a leave request using the Colleague Self-Service portal.

Colleague– Dashboard and Self-Service Portal

  1. Go to https://westerntc-ss.colleague.elluciancloud.com/
  2. Login with your Western email address and password
  3. On the Colleague dashboard click Employee

  4. On the Self-Service screen click on Leave

  5. You will see your Leave Balance on the upper left side of the screen.

  6. On the upper right side of the screen, you will see your Recent Leave Requests.

  7. On the bottom half of the screen, you will see your current Leave Totals.

Requesting Leave

  1. On the Leave portal, click on the blue Request Leave button.

  2. Click on the leave type drop-down and select your Leave Type.

  3. Select your Start Date

  4. Select your End Date

  5. Enter your hours in the 0.00 format for each day.

    1. If your leave request is for multiple weeks, click the blue arrows to navigate to the next week/day.

    2. You will only be able to enter hours for days that fall between your Start and End date.

  6. You can enter a comment by clicking the Comments button.

    1. Enter your text/reason for the leave request and click Add Comment.

      1. Click Close

  7. Click Save

    1. A green check mark notification will pop up indicating your request has been saved

  8. If you have everything completed, you can click Submit.

    1. You can click Unsubmit to make changes and then resubmit

    2. A green check mark notification will pop up indicating your request has been submitted.
      1. You can not edit a request from a previous pay period.

  9. You will see your new leave request in your Leave Requests section.
    1. The status will say Submitted until it is either Approved or Denied.
