Colleague - Leave Request
This document provides instructions on how to access and submit a leave request using the Colleague Self-Service portal.
Colleague– Dashboard and Self-Service Portal
- Go to https://westerntc-ss.colleague.elluciancloud.com/
- Login with your Western email address and password
- On the Colleague dashboard click Employee
- On the Self-Service screen click on Leave
- You will see your Leave Balance on the upper left side of the screen.
- On the upper right side of the screen, you will see your Recent Leave Requests.
- On the bottom half of the screen, you will see your current Leave Totals.
Requesting Leave
- On the Leave portal, click on the blue Request Leave button.
- Click on the leave type drop-down and select your Leave Type.
- Select your Start Date
- Select your End Date
- Enter your hours in the 0.00 format for each day.
- If your leave request is for multiple weeks, click the blue arrows to navigate to the next week/day.
- You will only be able to enter hours for days that fall between your Start and End date.
- If your leave request is for multiple weeks, click the blue arrows to navigate to the next week/day.
- You can enter a comment by clicking the Comments button.
- Enter your text/reason for the leave request and click Add Comment.
- Click Close
- Click Close
- Enter your text/reason for the leave request and click Add Comment.
- Click Save
- A green check mark notification will pop up indicating your request has been saved

- If you have everything completed, you can click Submit.
- You can click Unsubmit to make changes and then resubmit
- A green check mark notification will pop up indicating your request has been submitted.
- You can not edit a request from a previous pay period.

- You can click Unsubmit to make changes and then resubmit
- You will see your new leave request in your Leave Requests section.
- The status will say Submitted until it is either Approved or Denied.
